Our Mission at Karate Central is to provide our students the very best instruction available. It is our goal to exceed any and all expectations that our students may have of their instructors as well as themselves. Confidence, Honor, Courage, and Respect are just a few of the characteristics that describe a true karate student. It is our job to instill these qualities in our students to the very best of our ability.

With a traditional Shorin Ryu(a system dating back to the 1600's) core, Karate Central also incorporates self-defense, throwing techniques, joint locking, grappling, as well as many other modern martial arts concepts which help to make this system of karate one of the best available.

All of our ranks are internationally certified and recognized. Karate Central is proud to be a part of a very prestigious and select group of karate schools that belong to the I.M.S.S. (International Matsumura Seito Society). The I.M.S.S. motto of “martial arts as it was meant to be”, is how we at Karate Central feel about our system. We wanted to bring one of the highest quality martial arts systems in the world to Natchitoches, Louisiana. We wanted to make a difference in the lives of our students and to provide a gift that would last a lifetime.
